Personal Designs

Bee Geometry - Procreate

This was a fun idea I had that started as a tattoo design after scrolling through Instagram and seeing tattoos that mixed nature with geometric shapes. Bees are my favorite insects and I love nature so I wanted to try designing my own. I originally had it in black and white to resemble an actual tattoo design, but I had extra time between classes and I decided to fill it in with color. I ended up loving how it turned out. I made a few variations and these are my favorite.

Sunset Daisies, Lavender Daydream and Wildflowers - Procreate

Over Christmas Break in 2024, I drew these illustrations on my iPad using Procreate. My inspiration for these digital drawings was an acrylic painting I had seen on Instagram in a similar style. I loved how the first drawing, Sunset Daisies, came out and drew a total of six. These are my favorite three.

Star Wars Speed Sketches - Procreate

These were quick sketches of classic Star Wars settings using a reference picture. My goal was to see how much I could do in about 15-20 minutes each. I did six speed sketches and spent about an hour or more on the Death Star drawing, each using a reference picture.

Animal Illustrations - Procreate

These are illustrations that I've done over the last three years. Some were gifts for a family member, most were made for fun. They took anywhere from 30 minutes to two hours to complete. I've done many but these are my favorite. The Emerald Boa started as a conceptual object assignment my freshman year, and after I submitted it I went back and added more to it.

Mandala Lights - Procreate

If I didn't have homework to work on, I would draw mandalas between classes. My goal while I drew them was to get as much detail as I could. I spend 8-12 hours on each mandala until they are complete. I've drawn many of these illustrations, but these are the most detailed, and my favorites.

Other Works - Procreate, Watercolor, Acrylic

These are more illustrations I've made for myself or for family and friends that don't fit into a specific category. I like these pieces because of the sentimentality behind them. I have also included the traditionally painted pieces I have done, with both acrylic and watercolor. Acrylic paint is my favorite medium to work with, along with watercolor.
